1. Who we are

HookKit ("HookKit", "we", "us") is operated by Aiden Scott, trading as HookKit, an individual seller. By using HookKit you are entering into an agreement with Aiden Scott, trading as HookKit. Contact: hookkitsupport@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use HookKit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), or have authority to bind the organization you represent.

3. The service

HookKit is an AI-powered tool that finds highlight moments in videos, cuts them into short vertical clips, and adds captions. Features and limits depend on your plan (Free, Standard or Pro), as described on the Pricing page.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse HookKit. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law;
  • engage in fraud, spam, or deceptive activity;
  • upload or process content you do not own or have permission to use, or otherwise infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • create deepfakes, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content involving others without consent;
  • interfere with the security of the service, including uploading malware, probing for vulnerabilities, or scraping;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service, or bypass usage limits.

6. Your content and AI output

You keep ownership of the videos you submit and the clips you create. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for the content you submit, for having the rights to it, and for how you use the clips. AI-selected moments and captions may be inaccurate — please review them before publishing. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these Terms. Rights-holders can report infringing content to hookkitsupport@gmail.com; repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

7. Intellectual property

Aiden Scott, trading as HookKit retains all rights in HookKit, including its software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewals and cancellations are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. See our Refund Policy for refunds.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep HookKit running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every video can be processed. The service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. When access ends, your account data may be deleted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Aiden Scott, trading as HookKit against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, and disputes will be handled by the courts located there. You may not transfer your account without our consent. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these Terms and will post the new version on this page.
